Saint Joseph School of All Saints Parish - P.T.O. Monthly Meeting Minutes

Wednesday February 13, 2013 PTO Meeting


In attendance: CJ Enos, Erin Harrington and Linda O’Connell


CJ went over the projections for upcoming events and the up to date financials.  Copies were distributed to all parents at the meeting.


There was a discussion in regards to the spring book Fair, and CJ stated that they were still in the process of looking for someone to chair the event.  Several parents at the meeting volunteered to help, some progress was made.  Family night will be Tuesday March 12thand the book fair will be Mon, Wed and Thursday. 


Teacher Appreciation Week will be May13-17.  This change was made due to the Washington DC trip for 8thgrade.  There was a discussion on what will be given to teachers, and food to be served.  Tammi Sifferlin made a suggestion to give the teachers plastic drinking cups for a gift for this week.  There will be further discussion as the time comes closer. 


CJ will be running the 5k Road Race.  The major parts are completed, but still in the planning process.  Volunteers are needed for this event. 


The next PTO notice will ask about the creation of a Snack Shack committee to assist in the planning for restoration.  Any contractors are welcome or anyone who has expertise in these areas. 


A date for Your Fired was planned for April 5th.  Notices will be send home regarding the event.


Linda gave a brief update on the auction, and there was a discussion in regards to classroom baskets.  Comedians have been finalized, and anyone who could get more desserts donated would be helpful. 


The next PTO meeting will be on Wednesday March 13that 6:30pm.
