Welcome!
MISSION STATEMENT
All Saints Parish in Haverhill, an active Catholic faith community of rich cultural diversity, was established in the year 1998. As a community we commit ourselves to being welcoming to all, recognizing the gift of life in Christ, making prayer, Scripture and the Eucharist central in our lives and promoting service by reaching out to others in peace and love
HISTORY:
All Saints Parish was established, by his Eminence Bernard Francis Cardinal Law, Archbishop of Boston, on August 29, 1998. The Reverend Dennis T. Nason was installed as its first Pastor.
All Saints Parish was formed by the merger of the following four ethnic Parishes in the Mt. Washington section of Haverhill:
St. George's Parish, originally established November 22, 1914, to serve the Lithuanian population, became a Mission of St. James' Parish in 1918 until October of 1932 when it became a Mission of St. Rita's Parish. In February of 1961, St. George's Parish was reestablished as a separate parish.
St. Joseph's Parish, established December 25, 1871, to serve the French population.
St. Michael's Parish, established January 13, 1901, to serve the Polish population.
St. Rita's Parish, established October 15, 1932, to serve the Italian population.
We are very fortunate to have St. Joseph's School at All Saints Parish which was established in 1894 as a school for boys and was expanded in 1913 to include girls.
