MISSION STATEMENT

St. Joseph School of All Saints Parish serves students from nursery through grade eight from Haverhill, Massachusetts, and surrounding areas. We offer a challenging academic program integrated with Catholic values in a safe and welcoming environment. We strive to develop an awareness and concern for the less fortunate through the practice of the Corporal Works of Mercy.

Philosophy

"Catholic education" according to the "Documents of Vatican II" is an expression of the mission entrusted by Jesus to the Church he founded. Through education, the
Church  seeks to prepare its members to proclaim the Good News and to translate this proclamation into action. In order to fulfill the Christian mandate, the faculty and                  staff of St. Joseph School aim:

*to develop within each student an awareness of his/her dignity
as a child of God and of his/her responsibility to him/herself, to
other members of God's family, and to the environment.

*to respect the diverse cultural background of the students and
strive to meet the spiritual, academic and social needs of those
        they serve.

*to strive to maintain academic excellence by challenging each
student to work to the best of his/her ability according to his/
        her potential.

*to help develop the uniqueness of each student by encouraging
        independent thinking and responsible learning.

Goal

St. Joseph School strives to foster the four-fold dimensions of Catholic education's "message, community, worship, and service" in order to equip the students with moral values, the knowledge, and the skills needed to meet the challenges of the twenty first century.

"We Believe in Catholic Education."
